Blueberries mean summer and there’s nothing better on a hot summer day than a blueberry frozen dessert. This recipe is easy, healthy, and delicious. Enjoy!

Serves 2-4


  • 3 cups frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey (feel free to add more if you want it to be sweeter)
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ⅓ cup water


Place the blueberries in a bowl or your chosen blending container (we used an immersion blender, but a food processor or powerful blender would work too).

Add the honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and water.

Blend the mixture until smooth, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula.

Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for a few hours before eating. Thanks to the honey the sorbet remains soft and easy to scoop even after hours in the freezer.
